El grupo se formó en 1987, cuando todos sus miembros estaban en el instituto. El cantante y guitarrista principal del grupo, Deke Dickerson, ha tenido una larga carrera musical a través de sus grupos The Whippersnappers, The Ecco-Fonics, The Dave and Deke Combo y The Go-Nuts. Otros miembros son Steve «King of Men» Mace, Steve “Sammy” Rager, y Chris Sprague AKA «Gringo Starr» AKA «Sugarballs» de Los Straitjackets & Nick Lowe.
